What is Sørlandstreffet?

Sørlandstreffet ("Southern Norway Volvo Meeting") is a Volvo-meeting and exibition for all kinds of Volvo independent of age or model.

The meeting was first time arranged in june 1999, and has been arranged all years after with great success.

There is no organization behind, just some volvoentusiastic friends that  wish to meet other volvo-entusiasts that own or is interested in Volvo cars to develop ideas and knowledge about the car brand.  It doesn't matter if the car is standard or custom, either if it is old or new. Volvo has long traditions in Norway, and everyone has a relationship to the brand. It is the Volvo-spirit that count.

In the previous meeting there has always been over 50 years between the oldest and newest car. Because of that, the meeting is an uniqe opportunety tto study the developement of Volvo, and the modern car, during the second part of last century.

The makers of Sørlandstreffet whish that as many as possible want to exhibit their car, so that other owners and public can study and compare the different models side by side in true Volvo spirit.

The only fee is 50 NOK to exebit one car, wich actually is rent to the camping.
Entrance for public is free.
